Never Give Up

Nowadays everyone is talking about mental health. As we know depression and anxiety is growing up. Humans are taking their lives for granted. Many people are writing about what depression looks and feels like.
It is obvious that when we hear or read about a thing we think again again about that even if we don't want to. We start comparing ourselves with the opinions of others. We come to the conclusion that signs like not having friends, laughing all the times and disturbed sleeping patterns etc show that there is something wrong. Even I was very disturbed for many days. It's funny that I had started reading the symptoms and searching for those within myself that's why I thought maybe the experience I had in these few days can help someone. I'm not a mental health specialist. I just want to share my opinion.
Some people say if a person has friends or someone to share things with, he never feels alone. It might be true, maybe it works. But I know about many people who are introverts, concerned with their own thoughts and living the happiest lives one can imagine of. Maybe for them keeping things within themselves is comfortable. Everyone has the same power and right to choose the way they are comfortable with. It's okay either you feel like you need someone to share the things that are bothering you or you think you yourself can solve everything you face. Both the situations are normal. Don't put stress on your mind that you are going through depression or something.
As far as I know when a person suffers form depression, he reaches a point in his life when he thinks everything ends here, no positive vibes crosses his mind and he feels like it does'nt matter if he lives or not. He feels emptiness, like there is nothing to live for and his existence is just a burden on the earth.
From many days I'm thinking about it and reading a lot of articles. The point is why a person go so far that turning back becomes impossible for him? Why he feel his existence is for nothing?why?
I remember once asked a Scholar from Saudi Arabia who visited our university about two years ago that what leads a person to depression and suicidal thoughts? how can a person save himself?  His answer was '' daughter! if you have faith in God and you believe that whatever He do is the best for you, depressing thoughts won't even be able to cross your mind.'' His statement helped me a lot in many situations. To understand it , read it once again ''if you have faith in God and you believe that whatever He do is the best for you, depressing thoughts won't even be able to cross your mind.''
First of all have FAITH. Believe that everything happens for a reason. If everything seems meanless there must is a way. A door that leads to light, to find that door a little effort is needed. The effort is to look at the positive aspects of situations. Accepting the fact that negative and positive experiences both leave beneficial impact on life. The difference is that positive experiences give us beautiful memories and negative give us the chance of learning great lessons. The lessons that ipmrove our future like nothing else can do.
Another most important thing is accept yourself for who you are. when you accept the way you are the world recognizes you. Acknowledge all of yourself- the good and the things that need improvements. It all begins with your state of mind. It will help you choose your dreams wisely and will help you achieve them. it will help you stop comparing your life with others. It will stop you thinking about the ones who are living better life than you. Better in a sense, if they have more money , childern , education , family love , better relationships, knowledge, intelligence , beauty etc. and you want a life like them. It will never let you stay happy. Stop it , I'm saying again ''accept yourself for who you are.'' Show some gratitude. Be thankful for what you have. There are a lot of people wishing to live your life , you just need to realise that.
And yes if you want improvements in your life it's not wrong. Instead of thinking negative about your life start improving it.
